The only hassle I have and ALWAYS need assistance is printing something from the computers to the pay as you go printers. It's VERY complicated, involved and not intuitive at all.

For a small town library this one is very modern, even progressive, and offers much of the amenities to be found in any city library. It's also very community oriented with eclectic classes, lectures, displays, demonstrations and performances throughout the year on a vast array of topics and concerns. They are extremely helpful with the disabled, elderly, injured shut ins and the plain forgetful in the looking up possible checkouts and renewals. They will also send out books in the rural areas outside of town. There's always enough staff to at least get you started, many being local students from Morehead State University.

They study rooms are nice but they are located in the children's book section and the noise is terrible... I should've just stayed in the gym and studied

One thing I like a LOT is they are not judgmental about your appearance. I often can only come into town when on farm errands. I'm a retired vet who's also an old school Biker working my small farm most days. It's not unusual for me to come busting in wearing just overalls and boots covered in manure and dried clay while sporting my biker rings, large heavy pierced ears, full body tattoos, lots of chains and my riding knife at my waist and they never bat an eye and treat me as well as the church lady in her best regalia sranding next to me! That's class and respect.

They have ongoing classes and clubs that meet there including a wonderful dulcimer group that practices there on Monday evenings that offers free beginner lessons AND the library itself offers high end Dulcimers, music and music stands for one month checkouts (something unheard of anywhere else I've lived)!

A beautiful library with a wealth of resources and top-notch children's area

The Xbox and PlayStation games are awesome and they always work

What a great place. My grandmother and I love this place. She loves computers, blocks, music, tree, boat, lizard, books, Lego club and the ornament workshop at Christmas.
