The chicken was pretty good...less flavor than bojangles/Popeyes but similar quality. The restaurant was not super clean but tolerable. The front counter lady was REALLY nice and accommodating to us.
This place is a great random find! Fast food place with a buffet. We got ours to go. The slaw was a smidge heavy on the mayo for my tastes. The chicken and potato wedges on the other hand are great! The wedges I got had sections that were bruised, but guess what? I just didn't eat that part - revolutionary, I know. Amazing value for the price and taste. I wish this was around in NC.
I would give them a zero if possible. Bought chicken and potatoe wedges for years and stopped and ordered a large box of wedges on my way home today and when I got to the window and paid for them I ask for some ranch dressing to have to dip them in and the lady told me that was fine I could have it and then when she came back to the window she was gonna charge me $2 bucks for it and was rude as could be. I can buy a whole bottle from Kroger for that price. I got money back for the wedges and we left. The one in Morehead SUCKS!!!
Good food. Good service. Friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
